Volunteers and members meet on a Tuesday every week at the Jigsaw Link luncheon club.

The luncheon club takes place at different venues within the borough of Bury.

Volunteering at Jigsaw

Being a Jigsaw volunteer means lots of things, but it mainly means being helpful to everyone in the group. You may be asked to push somebody in a wheelchair or assist someone with walking difficulties to their seat. You might help by cutting up somebody’s food for them or by helping someone to work out the right money to pay for drinks.

On a sports outing you may need to help someone use gym equipment or play basketball and encourage and support others too. If in doubt, just ask the person you are with if they need any help. On every outing, the Group Leaders will always be there to guide you.
