The Mayor's Reception Invite

In June 2026, Jigsaw Link Volunteer, Judith, was delighted to attend the Mayor's Reception celebrating Volunteers’ Week earlier in the month and marking #SmallCharitiesWeek.

The event began with a warm welcome from our Chief Officer Helen Tomlinson, followed by inspiring words from The Mayor, Councillor Mohammed Tahir Rafiq who recognised the incredible contributions that local groups and volunteers make across the borough.
